Muse? Smashing Pumpkins? Ach, die klingen doch eh nicht mehr wie früher. Placebo dagegen schon, und manchmal ist das einfach genau richtig so. Ohne wie eine öde Selbstkopie zu klingen, verbinden Brian Molko und Kollegen geschickt spannungsgeladene Atmosphären mit ihrem typisch dunklen 90s-Vibe. Nach langen Jahren der Abstinenz kehren auch die norwegischen Schatten-Poeten Madrugada mit neuen Songs zurück. Es ist ihr erstes Studioalbum nach dem Tod des Gitarristen Robert Buras im Jahr 2007. Zudem warten wir auf das Red Hot Chili Peppers-Comeback mit Holy John, auch wenn derzeit weder der Album-Titel, noch eine Single-Veröffentlichung gesichert ist. Auch beim sagenumwobenen The Cure-Album warten wir noch auf konkrete Fakten. Die stehen bei den Hellacopters schon fest: Der Schwedenrock-Express überrollt uns im April.
