Videopremiere: Venom Prison – "Deva's Enemy/Asura's Realm"

Die Death Metal-Hoffnungsträger Venom Prison veröffentlichen seit Kurzem scheibchenweise einen Mitschnitt ihrer Performance beim Damnation Festival 2019. Das ist schon für sich sehr schön, noch willkommener wirds allerdings (leider) dadurch, dass wir die Band um Shouterin Larissa Stupar eigentlich gerade in Fleisch und Blut auf deutschen Bühnen hätten sehen sollen. Venom Prison waren als Support für Parkway Drive auf deren wegen Corona abgesagten Europa-Tour eingeplant.

Heute präsentieren wir euch exklusiv die Premiere ihres neuen Livevideos zum Doppelschlag "Deva's Enemy/Asura's Realm". Beide Stücke stammen vom 2019 veröffentlichten Studioalbum "Samsara".

Venom Prison kommentieren "Deva's Enemy/Asura's Realm" so: "This song is about the distribution of wealth in our society, the shift of right wing politics all over the world, police brutality and exploitation and was written around the time the Refugee crisis in Europe was becoming very present. We we’re driving back to the UK after playing some shows in Germany and at the border controls in Calais we could see young people climbing fences, running across the road, trying to jump onto the back of a lorry. A person fell off the lorry right in front of us and was almost hit by another vehicle. It was horrid to see. It's our responsibility to ensure the wellbeing of vulnerable people, it's not a crime wanting to find a better life for yourself and your loved ones. It’s a human right."
