Konstanz (nie) - Das "Testo Tape 2" sollte man im Falle Silla wohl nicht als Vorgeschmack, sondern eher als Vorwarnung sehen. "Vom Alk Zum Hulk" heißt das neue Werk von Silla, dessen Zeiten bei Maskulin nun endgültig vorbei sind. Für das neue Album hat der Berliner eine neue Labelheimat gefunden: Major Movez. Die bereits veröffentlichte Tracklist lässt genau wie der Albumtitel Schlimmes befürchten: "Sixpack", "Adonis" oder "Cardio King" - die Fitness-Metaphern scheinen Silla wohl nie auszugehen. "Wer einen neuen Soundtrack für Höchstleistungen im Gym sucht, der liegt bei 'VAZH' goldrichtig", heißt es im Pressetext. Wer nach guter Musik sucht, dann wohl eher nicht.

Paul Kalkbrenner baut mit seinem nunmehr siebten Studioalbum seinen Ruf als einer der größten deutschsprachigen Elekronik-Künstler weiter aus. "Das neue Album soll ganz anders sein, als alles, das man von Paul Kalkbrenner kennt", sagt der Maestro selbst über seine neue Platte "7". Als Einstimmung gibt es die erste Auskopplung "Cloud Rider" im Video.

Die Kalifornier Fear Factory legen dann ebenso am Freitag vor. Nach drei Jahren feuert die Metalcombo "Genexus" ab und wird wohl, wie mit den acht Studioalben zuvor, schlicht verbrannte Erde hinterlassen. Bei der Aufnahme setzte sich Schlagzeuger Mike Heller wieder an die Sticks, der beim 2012 erschienenen "The Industrialist" noch einer Drum-Machine Platz machen musste. Wenn das mal kein Grund zur Freude ist.
