Konstanz (dol) - "If the world is bitter put on some glitter!" - so einfach ist das laut Linas erster Single "Glitter" aus dem Album "Ego". Die heute 19-Jährige gewann 2013 den KIKA-Wettbewerb "Dein Song", bekam viel Beifall für ihre Rolle als Bibi Blocksberg in den "Bibi & Tina"-Filmen und eine Echo-Nominierung für ihr erstes Album "Official". Da kann man schon mal ein 'Ego' entwickeln.

"Die Welt verändert sich rasant. Man kann sich auf nichts mehr so richtig verlassen. Aber worauf man sich verlassen kann: das ist meine Musik und was die für einen tut. Und genau das konnte man bei der Mark auch früher machen. Es geht hier um Vertrauen und um Verlässlichkeit." Ob der D-Mark-Nostalgiker Prinz Pi ein brauchbares Vorbild in Sachen Verlässlichkeit abgibt, muss wohl jeder selbst entscheiden. Mit seinen Auskopplungen "Hellrot" und "Letzte Liebe" schielt er jedenfalls beständig Richtung Heavy Radio-Rotation. Aber wer Genre-Großtaten wie "Donnerwetter" oder "Teenage Mutant Horror Show 2" in seiner Diskografie hat, darf auch mit Fug und Recht behaupten: "Nichts War Umsonst".

Mit großen Ankündigungen wartet auch Rapper Veysel auf. Im aktuellen Video zeigt der Essener sich in Sachen Hooks überzeugt, "Besser als 50 Cent" zu sein. Sein Straßenrap-Ansatz kommt wie beim New Yorker Vorbild durchaus unverkrampft daher. Auch Veysels Videoauskopplungen weisen Hit-Potenzial auf, was bereits ein Blick auf die beeindruckenden Zugriffszahlen verrät. "Hitman" erscheint wie sein Vorgänger "Audiovisuell" über Bela Boyz.

Katie Melua, Johannes Oerding, Philipp Poisel, Jennifer Weist: Peter Maffay holte sich recht verschiedene Gäste für sein MTV-Unplugged-Debüt. Bei der Aufnahme im Steintor-Varieté, einem alten Theater in Halle, wurden denn auch die Duette mit Oerding ("Eiszeit") und Melua (beim "Tabaluga"-Song "Ich wollte nie erwachsen sein") am meisten gefeiert.
